Born in Canberra in 1968, Megan trained at the University of South Australia receiving her Bachelor of Visual Arts in 1997. Megan works with a wide range of mediums - charcoal, pastels, watercolour, oils, dry-point, etching, tempera, ceramic sculpture, wood carving, bronze casting, ferro cement and mosaics.               Megan is passionate about drawing, especially the expressive quality of the markings that result, communicating three dimensional form on a two dimensional medium. Megan's core practice is directed towards exhibitions however when her schedule allows, Megan undertakes commissions, working in three dimensional mediums and installations within her community. In 2009, Megan was selected as a finalist in the 2009 Archibald Art Prize for her topical study of Ben Cousins, titled "Waiting For The Day".
